Lawrence Forensic Engineering has been in business for over 20 years and was established by John H. Lawrence P.E. In that time, we have been able to investigate and report on over 4200 jobs for insurance professionals and attorneys. Our area of expertise lies within the realm of civil engineering and ranges from structural engineering to geotechnical engineering. We also perform and specialize in roof inspections from low sloped commercial roofs to steep sloped residential roofs and everything in between. There is no job within the range of our expertise that is impossible for us to investigate.

John Lawrence, P.E.

John's education and experience includes a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (1975) and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (2004) both from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. He has over thirty years of progressively increasing responsibilities in the civil engineering and construction fields. As a member of the Arkansas Academy of Civil Engineers, National Academy of Forensic Engineers, and as a licensed Professional Engineer (AR, OK, MO, KS, and TN), John brings prestige, experience, integrity and dedication to his field.

Because of his extensive experience in the construction industry, John has fostered and developed an ability to analyze site damage, determine cause and effect from a structural point of view, and establish solid, reasonable projections for reconstruction. His work in the design and implementation phases of development and in actual project management has provided him with a foundation for making sound judgments based on factual information, compilation of data, and a thorough understanding of the requirements and components needed to complete projects on time and within budget.

As Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Lawrence Brothers, Inc. (formerly VALCO, INC.), John has been involved in all phases of heavy construction management from initial planning through project completion.

His unique combination of technical engineering expertise and construction planning, estimation, and implementation make his services as an engineering consultant extremely valuable to insurance companies and legal firms in need of expert analysis of the cause and effect of structural and weather-related damages.
